Welcome back to The Treehouse Show, where we dive headfirst into the weirdest, funniest, and most unbelievable stories on the internet.

To start off the week, we tackle the bizarre story of a Florida man who somehow ended up with a radioactive device. How did he get it? Why does Florida apparently have an entire team dedicated to tracking down radioactive materials? And should the rest of us be concerned?

Then we discuss the unbelievable case of a 36-year-old Brazilian woman who allegedly convinced people she was a 12-year-old child and ended up getting adopted. How does something like this even happen? Could you imagine adopting an adult who claimed to be a kid? We have questions.

00 Want more Treehouse, check out our YouTube exclusive shows at YouTube dot com slash at Treehouse on air. It is time believe your worries outside and laugh with us inside the Treehouse Show. I'm Daniel Maley along with Trey Trenholm coming up today. Moving sucks no way around it. Also, if you had to guess, how many women do you think say they settled in their relationships. But first, today, I'm going to share with you one of the most frightening thoughts I have ever had, and it came from a headline Florida man goes nuclear. This should terrify us all.

56 There are various world powers countries on this planet that have access to nuclear capabilities, some that should shown, some that should not. But I think we all can agree that Florida Man should not be a nuclear entity. Just not say for anyone. A Florida man is under arrest after authorities say he tried to sell a stolen radioactive device on Facebook marketplace, the new Craigslist. I was just thinking, you know, you couldn't even do Craigslist. I think Craigslist is kind of gone in most places now.

36 It's I don't know if it's even active in most municipalities and locales anymore. But yeah, Facebook marketplaces where you get all the former Craigslist stuff. Investigators say they got a tip about the listing in late May. The device, a moisture density gauge used in construction, can haynes a small amount of radioactive material and is strictly regulated. Florida State troopers set up a meeting with the seller, but when he didn't show, they went to his house because you know, law. Enforcement, because it's using and you know where they live.

17 Yeah that helps. Yeah, it wasn't difficult for them to find him. They just figured let's get him out. Let's get him out in public, out in the open, and a controlled environment kind of thing, make it seem legit as opposed to just raiding his home, which could be full of all sorts of nasty stuff. So I get the strategy there. But when he didn't show up, they had to then go find him. Using specialized equipment. They detected radiation from outside the house and later found the device inside. Official say the equipment, worth up to twenty thousand dollars, was still intact and safely recovered. Twenty four year old Marco Antonio Benitez Junior now faces charges including grand theft and he'll legal possession of a radio of a radiation device. I I don't I've never been to jail.

08 I've never been to prison. I don't know what certain crimes give you any credibility inside or not. I have no idea, but I feel like you're probably gonna be the only guy in that prison that is there for trying to sell a radioactive device. So I mean that's got to count for something, right. I mean if they give if they give style point, then yeah, absolutely. Huh. Authorities say mishandling the device could have posed serious health risks, including radiation exposure. So no shock there. Hey Mike, Mike, My question. Is, uh huh h.

50 Why aren't we looking at it as to how he got his hands on said device? Where? Where? What are we missing regulation wise that that that's floating about that Florida man could get his hands on it. Let me see if I can answer that for you. The investigation began May twenty six, Hey, it's my anniversary. After fhp's Bureau of Criminal Investigations and Intelligence received a tip about a private party's sale of the device on Facebook marketplace. Investigators made the arrangement to buy the thing. Then they did through all the steps that you and I found troopers with the agency's Preventative Radiological Nuclear Detection Unit.

31 Holy god, Florida has that? Do we have that in Texas? Or is that a Florida specific unit? I you know, I'm sure there's some secret organization in Texas that keeps an eye on these. At least I. Hope troopers with the agencies Preventative Radiological Nuclear Detection Unit found the device inside the residents. The agency of the device still intact, blah blah blah. I told you that, I actually And now because I went from one place when I first told you about the story, now I'm on a Sarasota television station's website, and Trey, you bring up a great question. I don't see anywhere in this story that it says how mister Benitez Junior got his hands on this thing.

24 You know, it's like, I mean, hell, even with with like TABC, you stamp bottles of liquor so they can ultimately trace it where it came from. Surely with nuclear devices, we have some some tracing technology on it. Because you said it's using construction. Yeah, FHP said. The gauge is typically used to measure the density and inner structure of materials, including moisture levels and soil and asphalt. So, yeah, it's some kind of like an X ray machine. Yeah, but it contains CS one thirty seven, a radiological isotop. Yeah, caesium. Yeah. So yeah, you know, I just.

07 I would certainly like to think that as a as a nation, as a whole, and as a state like Florida, that we have a better handle on where these things are. Yeah. I don't know if this could be made into some kind of of dirty bomb, weapons grade anything. But. Let's let's all strive to keep keep a hand better tabs on our nuclear stuff. Yeah, let's not. Let's not allow radiological isotopes to get into the hands of twenty four year old Florida men. Yeah, you know, I'll I won't just pin this on Florida. I'll go ahead and say Texas. Guy's too, Louisiana, especially anywhere in the South. Let's let's not.

49 Yeah, I don't I don't want a Cajun caesium deal. No, because happen the first time, first time LSU loses, that's that goes off. Yeah. No, doubt. I'm just going to make some grand assumptions here. Since this is used in some types of construction, I'm going to assume he worked for a construction company that used this thing, and I imagine he stole it from the company he worked for. That's my guess, and it's Florida. He may not have known what like you know, the big yellow stickers mint. He doesn't really understand the radiological biohazard emblem, you know what, You're right. He may not know that that's a dangerous insignia.

39 He may just think it's sort of like an American version of dollar signs. I'm glad they caught him, and I learned something new today which I did not expect, and that is, of course, that Florida has its own bureau dedicated to radiological nuclear detection. Good on them. Yeah. See what scares me is this. And as much as law enforcement wants to be proactive, at the end of the day, it's a reactive thing. Right, something bad happens, you called nine to one one then come to help, Right, It's very difficult for law enforcement to be proactive, otherwise you end up with something called Minority Report. The movie I like Okay, we thought you were going to murder someone, so we you wretched you for the murder didn't happen.

28 What I'm getting at is this, if there is a unit dedicated to preventing radiological nuclear devices getting in the hands of the public, that means someone did it, and there were enough people that have done it to where Florida Highway Patrol felt the need to have an entire unit dedicated to it. Makes sense. That's frightening to me, That's what I'm saying. There we go. Yeah. Meanwhile, while Florida is working on its own nuclear weapon, there is a woman in Brazil who tried to get adopted.

10 And now, before you make a bunch of judgments on this, hear this lady out. Authorities say a thirty seven year old woman successfully posed as a twelve year old girl for more than a year in order to be adopted by an unsuspecting family. Investigators say Amanda Maria Susa to Oliviera first gained trust through a church claiming she was an abused child, and she eventually was taken in by a local family who believed her story. To keep up the ruse, she reportedly acted like a child, using a pacifier to relax, speaking in a high pitched voice, and faking night terrors, convincing the family she needed care. For the record, twelve years old is way too old for a passy.

01 But you how did you become an expert on that? Because my wife is a child development expert. My ex wife is a speech language pathologist, and they both said at a certain point, children should not have passes. I know you're trying to go for me being pegged type situation, but I'm not going to allow it right here. I was not a baby tray. More of a ballgag joke. A ballgag is different from a passy tray, That's what I've been told. Better. Yeah, it doesn't affect your speech that way, or it doesn't affect your motor function of your mouth the way that.

44 Never mind, I'm speaking too much here anyway, she convinced the family she needed care. She also claimed to have been given hormones as a young child, which explained why she appeared to look much older than twelve. I can't wait for this documentary on Netflix. The deception went on for fourteen months. Fourteen months, You've got a thirty seven year old woman convincing a family that she was twelve when and during that time, the family was planning to legally adopt her until a suspicious relative tipped off. Police. Authorities later discovered the woman had carried out similar scams before, and she ultimately confessed. She now faces charges for fraud and identity theft, and her lawyer is seeking a psychiatric evaluation.

34 That's probably a good idea. I mean, hats off to her. If you're thirty seven and you somehow convinced anyone you're twelve, hey, you know, good on you. I guess at a certain point you kind of need to give a little credit because that's hard. That's got to be hard. Here's an alternate angle. I think that is worth exploring, just, you know, briefly, If it were legally possible for you, as an adult to be adopted by other adults, would you do it? And I don't mean where you're posing as a twelve year old like this.

28 What I mean is, I think a lot of this will look back at our childhoods for the most part fondly and thank god. I miss that. I miss the simpler time. I miss not having to go to work, I miss not having to worry about bills. I was just a kid. I just had to worry about figuring out some homework, going outside and playing doing kid things right, Because adulting is hard. Adult thing is really really hard. So if there was a legal way that you could put yourself up to be adopted by some older people or even same age whatever, I think some people would do it. I mean, you're basically just a kept individual. I don't know what the scenarios would really look like.

09 This is more of off the top of my head, kind of a sick, twisted black mirror, Twilight Zone type of thought, but I think if it were legally possible, I think there would be a number of people that would that would absolutely sign up for the kid treatment. Again, even as full grown adults. I mean. If if, if it was a plan that would that would get you out of work for the rest of your life. Yeah, that's what I'm That's what I'm saying. I mean, you really like you were, You're like, like, look for us, we're not going to be pick of the littertory. We're older guys, right, But if you're in your twenties and thirties, it might be a little more attractive. And again I don't mean this in like some sort of trafficking way.

52 I mean and like in a purely wholesome way. It's like, you know what, maybe maybe there's a couple out there or a single parent that lost a child and they're now childless. Like, you know what, I would love to adopt a kid. My kid would be around thirty. Now, let me see what kind of thirty year olds are out there looking to be adopted. And you get one and everybody wins. You get a child. The thirty year old doesn't have to worry about working anymore. You can just be you know what you want. I really think a lot of people would find that option very attractive. It's just a matter of finding people that would be willing to take on that, you know, quote unquote parental role. Never have to work again. You could probably inherit whatever they got that.

35 They leave you. I mean, it really didn't need to be a parental role. Just you know, you're older and you either he didn't have kids or kids don't talk to you, and you want the companionship and someone to look after you. Sounds pretty good. Yeah, that beats a shit out of paying taxes. Yeah, yeah, you know, take them on roller coasters and everything. Absolutely. 17:33 They'll be honest with you about what they find eight three three COOKDFW or that website cookdfw dot com. It is time for birthdays. Today is Tuesday, June ninth, twenty twenty six. Let's celebrate today with some birthdays. Michael J. Fox sixty five today, best known as, of course, Marty McFly from the Back to the Future movies and probably the world's most famous Parkinson's patient A Trey. There is a show I have not watched, but I mean to, and I wonder if you have. It's called Shrinking. I think it's on Apple stars Harrison Ford, and I'm now brain farting on his name.

23 Co star. He was on How I Met Your Mother Mother Jace Jason Siegel. Yes, I think he created this show. I'm not sure if you're or whatever, but it's it's Jason Siegel from Forgetting Sarah Marshall, How I Met Your Mother him and Harrison Ford, and it's I Guess about a relationship. It's like a group therapy type of thing. It's it's a show about therapy and I guess figuring out your life whatever. It's so it's funny. I've actually started watching that. Yeah, Jason Siegel, his wife has died and he's a mess. He is a therapist.

05 He works for a group of at which Harrison Ford is like the head therapist. Okay, now, since you just started watching it, I don't know about the rest of the cast, but I think Michael J. Fox is in it at some point, maybe in a like a recent season. I'm not sure how it works. The reason I know that, or maybe it was a guest spot. The reason I know that is because there was a clip of the show, I think from its most recent season that made the rounds on social media and I saw it of Harrison Ford giving the speech and it was very moving and it was beautiful.

45 It was beautifully written, perfectly acted, and it's Harrison Ford's character talking to like this group therapy session, and his character has been diagnosed with Parkinson's And in this episode, I think Michael J. Fox, if he's not a full on recurring character on the show, it's a guest spot for him, but I think he's in this scene. And part of what makes it so poignant is you have Harrison Ford giving this very emotional speech, having this disease with Parkinson's in front of Michael J. Fox. And word is that almost every word of that speech that he gives is a speech that Michael J. Fox gave to his cast and crew on Spin City. So I mean, if if you got a couple of minutes, dig it up on social media. It's really great stuff.

38 And the reason why I brought it up is, of course, Michael J. Fox Today's birthday. He's sixty five, and I think he's a national treasure. Alex P. Keaton, Marty McFly. It's actually. Actually tragic that he, uh, his career got cut so short because of Parkinson's. Yeah, because it was on spin City, which was a great show on its own as well. I loved Spin City. Uh it was during that show when he got diagnosed, and then that was part of what caused that show released his role on it to end. And it was interesting also that he shares a birthday with somebody else that I think that they are actually very connected. So Spin City was sort of a comic version of the movie to me, of the movie The American President or The West Wing, because.

38 I think before all of those. I thought was it Yeah, No, I thought Spin City was after he did. I thought Spin City was after he did The American President. Almost positive, because that's I think we got him that role. Uh. Anyway, the way the reason I bring that up is because Aaron Sorkin is sixty five today. He's the creator, writer, and creator of The American President and the West Wing and a Few Good Men. For those that don't know, he actually wrote the play A Few Good Men and then turned around and wrote the screenplay for it. Aaron Sorkin also sixty five. So those two guys share a birthday.

21 I'm gonna guess they happened right on top of one another because American President was ninety five, Spin City was ninety six. I don't know that you would have enough to like. The West Wing started after that. I do know that West Wings started in like ninety eight, ninety nine, two thousand, somewhere in that vicinity. But yeah, so you had birthday boys, Michael J. Fox Aaron Sorkin sharing the same birthday, same age, doing west doing the American President. Then Michael J. Fox sort of was able to parlay that role into Spin City, which is a great show. Happy birthday to them other birthdays today. Natalie Portman forty five. It's amazing how she was a to not have any Star Wars stink on her.

03 And I don't mean that's not an excuse to like drag the prequels what I mean is like a lot of people get in those Star Wars movies and sometimes you just kind of get type cast and have a hard time getting their way out of it. She had no problems, like she did the big movies and went right back to everything else that she was doing without any issues. Well, the funny thing about her is her. The first two movies I remember her and she's kind of the I mean she plays the Lolita from the Professional and then a movie called Beautiful Girls. Uh huh. I don't know if you've ever seen. I have not seen that. I'm aware of it, but I'm not a fantastic movie.

46 But her whole, especially in Beautiful Girls, like she's i mean eleven twelve years old, but in both those movies she kind of plays this kind of. Not so innocent innocent, but not so innocent. It's it's like a somewhat sexualized girl. And she did a bunch of other stuff even before the Star Wars movies, other in you know, other movies and things, and then she did Star Wars. She did those. She also has a starring role in a movie that is one of my biggest movies. When it comes to if someone tells you, what's a movie that freaked you out that's not a horror movie. I see this question get asked sometimes, what's a movie that freaked you out that was not a horror slasher film? And I have two answers. One of them starred Natalie Portman, and that was Annihilation. That's the one where it's she's a female scientist and she's trying to figure out what happened to her husband. He got pulled into some mysterious visual anomaly, and things that go into this mysterious visual anomaly don't come out. I highly recommend it, but it will freak you out. The part that will freak you out, you'll know when it happens and you'll be like, oh my god, I'm never gonna hear that type of noise or see that type of thing ever again, and not be freaked out by it.

13 But I highly recommend Annihilation with Natalie Portman because it'll have some It's got some weird, freaky stuff in it. How about that the other movie that would freak me out and does to this day, Event Horizon. I saw that in the theater and it jacked me up for two hours straight afterwards. I can't remember if it came out in the late nineties, like ninety eight, ninety nine. Maybe somewhere in there starred Sam Neil from Jurassic Park. I think Lawrence Fishburne might have been in it. The female lead, I'm brain fighting on her name. I can see her face, but I can't think of what her name is. But that movie me up. That is a freaky ass movie. Event Horizon another one I highly recommend.

09 Other birthdays today. Johnny Depp is sixty three. The opposite of freak out movies. The Pirates of the Caribbean. Those are just kind of fun. I've never seen any of those. I have not seen all of them. Here's the thing. So, the Pirates of the Caribbean movies to me are similar to the Harry Potter movies in that I have not seen all of them. But when I try to pick up one midway, I don't know which one I'm watching. They all seem so similar. Oh, I disagree with you about Harry Potter movies, but I mean that's funny. There was a. Marathon all weekend and I found myself watching the Harry Potter movies quite a bit. I need to ask you this question. Have you read any of the books.

51 No, I'm actually once I get moved. That's actually next on my reading list are the Harry Potter movies, because one of the reasons why HBO is doing a Harry Potter show is because evidently a lot of people feel like the books left out a lot. I mean, I'm sorry the movies left out a lot. Of what the books contained. Interesting, so but I have. I haven't anyone who has read them as said they are fantastic books, and that is like the Tolkien books were probably my favorite books of all time to read.

34 The reason I ask is because I am a forty six year old man and I feel compelled to read some Harry Potter. And I don't know if it's not like I read in public ever, but it's just thinking. It's like, is it weird for a middle aged man to read Harry Potter or is it I've seen most of the movies and I've liked them, and I've when I go to the bookstore, I'll see a Harry Potter book and think, I wonder if I should read. So I was just wondering if it's something that other bros. Have done. I had a big movie weekend this and it's a lot of Harry Potter watched The Town. That's good. It was good. I watched Hell or High Water.

20 M hmm, man, you had a good weekend despite all the moving. I was just packing this weekend. But uh, yeah, not a fan of Hell or High Water. I just I In fact, I I I didn't even finish it because I just. I just I just didn't get into it. That's the train one right where they're making train tracks and stuff. No, it's Jeff Bridges and they're bank robbers, and uh it's a. Oh oh my bad, I'm thinking of Hell on wheels. Never mind. Yeah, Chris Pine, that. His name, gotcha. Yeah. Uh. Speaking of Jeff Bridges, the True Grip remake was actually really good with him.

04 Other bird he's an interesting one because uh sometimes especially like when he's he's trying to do a Texas accent and everything else in this movie, and it greats on me. Oh yeah, I think he's a phenomenal actor. And but yeah, I mean even phenomenal actors will have a role and be like, nah, that wouldn't hear that didn't quite hit. Other birthdays today, Dick vi tal is eighty seven still kicking it unreal, eighty seven years old. He's up there with Abe Vigoda. He looks very similar to a Vagoda. Dick Vital is one of those guys. It seems like he's been old his entire life. Oh yeah, I wouldn't put him in the Abe Vagoda category.

51 That's just cold man. Storry to need to be a dick on your birthday. Dick has been fighting cancer and everything. What the hell, Burby? You're in the treehouse. Slash Treehouse on Air mentioned it in that last segment tray, you haven't moved yet, but you've begun the packing process.

30 You've got a handful of days left before you actually make the physical move. How's it going. You're doing all right? It's moving, I mean, it's it's very bittersweet. I mean, I thought i'd be moving in with Brandy and. Uh obviously instead you're moving on. Yeah, instead I'm moving by myself, and uh so you know, it's a pain in the ass. I hate moving. It's kind of good to purge all a crappy. Collect but you know, it'll be It's.

15 I've had a lot of loss lately, and so it'll probably be good to get out of this place. That does make sense. It's it's somewhat clean slate feeling, makes some new memories in a new place. But there's no way around it. Moving sucks. There's nothing enjoyable about it. The entire process is awful. It costs money and time and it's there's the only good thing about it is that hopefully when you move, you're moving into a either a better place or a better situation, just so that way there's some silver lining to all the crap you gotta do with moving. I am very much looking forward to the fact that I am moving into a two bedroom, so.

58 I will have where I am now. I have this set up right in my living room, so I will be able to have a room dedicated to the treehouse and work and it'll be acoustically better, it will be. And also moving into a place that has so both bedrooms have huge closets, so I will have place to store stuff and hopefully it'll be just cleaner, looking nicer. One of the things that's I have not bought a washer and dryer in decades, so I'm trying to find a washer and dryer I'm trying to find I've actually been looking on Facebook Marketplace trying to find just a used one.

50 And sure, but it's like front loading top loading. It's just there's it's an ass whipping in and of itself. It's too many options, isn't it? And you're having to learn about the differences between top load front load digital, this analog that how many settings does it have? How many settings do you want or need? Really? All these things? Do I need my washer and dryer to be Wi Fi compatible? Is there really say? I have gone almost fifty two years of my life never having to worry you remotely connecting to my washer or dryer? Is that something I really need? I'm with you, brother, between that and refrigerators saying like it's like Bluetooth capable. I envision your imagine this tray.

37 Imagine you're on a first date with somebody and you're making small talk. Do you think at any point if you pulled out your phone and told her you know what I can do? I can I can turn on my laundry with my phone. Do you think that's gonna make them panties drop? No? If you tell her that you can make ice with the touch of a button from your phone, is that going to impress anybody? Or is that just another something that could fail? I'm unless there was some way to remotely now and they do make all in ones, but they take forever. Yeah, uh. Yeah, unless there was something that it's somehow it could transfer itself from the washer to the dryer because or take the stuff out of the dryer and fold it.

24 Yes, yes, now we're talking. Yeah, then then I'd feel like I was really cool. But otherwise, like what are the washers? I was looking at it as the main washer, but then it's got a little thing on top that I guess, I don't know, for steam or whatever. I have gotten along just fine, which the plain old washer and dryer, and that's really probably the route I should go. But yet I am fascinated by the ones that have all the lights and knobs and everything, and it's like, well, what am I missing out on? I know, is there some sort of technology I haven't heard about yet? Is there AI in this washer dry or setup to where maybe all I gotta do is dump the dirty clothes into the washer and then I can leave. Then with a touch of a button on my phone, I can hit the start process. It can wash the clothing and then either dry it in the same machine or slide it over transfer it into an adjoining machine to then dry the stuff and then fold it for me, so that way I could go to a movie, come home, and my laundry's done. Now you've got my attention when it comes to all the new technology and the bells and whistles. Short of that, man, just wash my clothes without shrinking it. That's really all I need.

44 Yeah, I'm now. All that being said, If you can get your hands on an oven that you can delay start, that's pretty cool because then, like if you've got a roaster or something that takes all day, you can set that and go do stuff and it can have a delayed start and then you come home and it'll have been in there for an hour, like you need. That's about the only super fancy thing I've needed. But like, like, what is it the refrigerators that have a touch feature that can it's like a disappearing deal, Like it looks like a normal refrigerator, but the other touch it you can see inside. I don't need that. I'll just open it.

30 I don't I don't need to see through my refrigerator door. I just I'll just open it. Yeah, I think only I take it back. Ghostbusters would have been an entirely different movie if Sigourney Weaver's character just was able to see through the door without having to open it and see the dog. I am sure all this is. It's all fantastic, and uh maybe one day I'll have the money to buy appliances like that and and really enjoy them. But for now, I. You know, refrigerator keeps stuff cold, freezer keep stuff really cold, oven hold your just whole timp just it is in a range. I mean, the fancies I get with a dishwasher is is I'll do it on a delay where it'll you know, run in the middle.

26 Of the night. Absolutely, that's really all I need. That's that's really all the technology that we need, right. So I am. But somehow I have to get this washer and dryer purchase this week and and it's just it's going through Facebook marketplace. Is just nerve wracking in and of itself because because you don't know, you have no idea what you're getting. Yeah. Uh, if you haven't done this already, just check appliance warehouse. I think they sell pre uh like use used machines, because that's the common place does all the apartments and stuff. The refurbished stuff. Yeah, so.

09 That's one option. Moving sucks. There's no way around it. I will say one of my favorite moving experiences was when there was next to no planning because we had no stuff. That was when me and my buddy Brian moved in together, and I had just started working in radio and was my first promotions job working for ninety two to five KZPS. This is nineteen ninety nine, okay, the beginning of nineteen ninety nine, and I borrowed the KZPS station van at around two am, went to Brian's house, packed all his stuff in trash bags. Then we went to my place through my stuff in a couple of boxes and trash bags, from Richardson to from Addison to Richardson to Arlington to South Arlington, moving into our place in the middle of the night using an unrequested station vehicle.

10 That was fun right in the middle of the night. And then I had it back by morning when Bo and Jim needed to use it. Barbecue, Bob, thanks you. All right? Did you settle? A surprising new survey suggests that more than one in three women regret who they chose as a romantic partner, or at least feel like they settled. Thirty three percent of adults overall, so not just women. Thirty three percent of adults overall said they compromised their standards in their relationship. No surprise, Women are more more likely than men to feel that way. That's thirty five percent to thirty one, So it's not a big swing. It's very small in there. Women between the ages of twenty five to thirty four were most likely to say they had doubts about long term compatibility, forty one percent of those saying they questioned if they had chosen the right partner. So there you have it. One in three adults feel like they have settled when it comes to their relationship. Are you surprised by that number? No, not really. I think if people were being more honest with themselves, I think that number might actually be higher because because the way I see it is most of your early relationships you're still figuring out who you are, right, so it's difficult to operate within a relationship. But when you're in that phase, it's all about learning not just

41 about who you are and what you want what you expect in a relationship, but you're also learning what you want and what you expect out of somebody else in a relationship. And when you're young, you don't know any better. You're doing dumb stuff all the time. I think at that point you're just trying to learn. And then by the time you get around a certain age, you're like, Okay, think I got it figured out, but you really don't. No, you think you do, and then she ups and leaves you and doesn't tell you why. Uh, And you're fifty two years old moving into a new place with a cat. Yeah. I've always looked at it back in my real estate days, and you may have come across this as a lot of times you would have to tell people when they're looking for a house. It's like, if you can find something that meets eighty five to ninety percent of your wants and needs, that's a great fit. You're never going to get one hundred percent, even even if you build.

36 The chances are by the time you build it five years later there are gonna be things you wish you had done differently. So if you can hit that eighty five ninety percent, you're doing really well. And that's you know, that's a keeper. You just put a very impractical thought in my head. Wouldould you rather? Would you rather get into a romantic relationship with someone who fits about eighty five to ninety percent of your wants and needs, or would you rather build one using AI in a three D printer that meets what you think are one hundred percent of your ones and needs. So basically, would you rather have a real woman or a really hot bot?

35 I would go with a real woman because I know without a shadow of a doubt, and this would be the real pisser is I know, I'd really forget something major, building something, and then I would be pissed off at myself for eternity. That you know, or what I was. I was thinking short term at the time and not long term, and I would screw myself. And you've and you've built your own demise. You are doctor Frankenstein. That's I think my thinking is, I'll if you were to go with the hot bot, it's like, well, it's it's I'm an idiot. It's eventually gonna turn on being kill me.

16 I mean, at this point, you know I've either one is probably gonna leave me. So I'm. That's both funny and sad. I'm sorry, but at least you got me. Yeah, we don't forget stroke Dan goes to China. You've got that look to look forward to Bud for all things Treehouse.
