Good Parenting or Bullying? The Hobby Horse Club Debate

Are you a good parent if you encourage your kid to follow their dreams...but warn them those dreams are going to get them bullied?

A mom on Reddit's AITA wants to know if she crossed the line by telling her daughter that starting a Hobby Horse Club at school is going to make her a target. Dan and Trey debate whether that's responsible parenting or just being a jerk to your own kid.

Next, a homeowner removes a bench from his front yard after strangers start using it as their personal hangout and trash can. Is he wrong, or is this why we can't have nice things?

In celebrity birthdays, the Jonas Brothers are approaching 40, we rank the Hemsworth brothers, and take a look at Robert Patrick's fascinating Hollywood career.

And finally, a man gets arrested after his diaper fetish goes way beyond weird. And for once, Florida is completely innocent!

It's another episode of The Treehouse Show, featuring Reddit drama, parenting debates, bizarre news, celebrity birthdays, and the kind of conversations that probably shouldn't happen in public.

58 It is time to leave your worries outside and laugh with us inside the treehouse. I'm Dan O'Malley, along with Trey Trenholm and Jerry Caldwell. It is the end of our. Regular broadcasting week here inside the treehouse. Quick hello to our ultimate treehouse subscribers already hanging out in the treehouse chat. Diego, hello. Hi, Linda. Mackie, of course, always here. Linda, I'm saying it twice. Hello to you, because apparently she's having a rough week. Everything we can do, anything we can do to make your week better, we try to do that here inside the treehouse. Including, it's very important if you have children that they hear the word no.

43 It's especially important that they hear the word no if they come to you someday and say, Mom, I want to start hobby horsing. It's weird that a mother felt the need to go online to ask others if she was right to do so. Because to me, it sounds like. A rhetorical question. This lady says, am I the a-hole for telling my daughter she might get bullied for hobby horsing? To me, the biggest a-hole thing in there is that you use the word might. Yeah. She will absolutely get bullied.

26 Yeah, how did you. You would be a huge a-hole if you didn't. Yeah, that's actually a stronger point. If you didn't tell your kid, that would actually make you a bigger a-hole than telling your kid, you're probably going to get bullied. I mean, unless you're just sadistic. I mean, and then it's kind of funny if you wanted to sit. Back and just laugh. Sure, honey, you can do anything you want. And she can. What? What? You got made fun of? No. But if you're joining the bullies to bully your kid, look at my idiot kid, hobby horse. That would be something my dad would have done. I believe that. I totally believe that.

08 That's going to be an Olympic sport someday, son. No, it's not. At least not in any Olympics I want to be a part of. Real quick, we all know what hobby horsing is, right? It's stick horse. Horse head on a stick. Yeah. Yeah. It's everything you see on real horses except stick horses. Running, jumping. Jumping. Yeah. So I have seen the hobby horsing when it comes to the eventing, which is just the jumping over the gates and stuff. But I don't think I've seen the hobby horsing. What is it? I have not seen it with the cross-country eventing like you see in the Olympics as well, where it's like the long stretches. I don't know if I've seen that because that's a long way to run.

54 I don't know if they have, I haven't seen that either. I've just seen what I would call either the dressage or Hunter jumping. The dressage hobby horsing is mega ridiculous. Yeah. Cause, cause the jumping isn't. No, that's just normal, ridiculous. And the fact that they're doing the dressage part, well, jerry do you know what the dressage is yeah okay so yeah let's pretend you don't so the eventing is where you jump over this stuff right the dressage is where you just prance around and you look fancy that's the layman's term for dressage now imagine not doing it on a horse but you're doing it but holding a stick horse that's mega ridiculous.

45 Yeah even more so than just. The jumping over i i i you're you're uh You think they're equal? I think anytime you have a stick course between your legs, you have already crossed the path of ridiculous. I mean, I don't know how you have such varying degrees between jumping and dressage. I just do. I just see, you know, for the most part, I like to think things are equal until I see something so ridiculous that it then bears. The A qualifier to make it even more ridiculous. So prancing with a stick horse is totally ridiculous, where jumping around in an obstacle course is just semi-ridiculous?

32 No, it's just normal ridiculous. Normal. Hence, there's regular ridiculous and then mega ridiculous. Those are my two tiers. They're both ridiculous. It's just that the dressage, the prancing part, that's the mega ridiculous. But jumping is normal ridiculous. Normal ridiculous, yes. While still maintaining ridiculousness. At least with the jumping, they're jumping. They're doing something kind of athletic. I mean. Don't get me wrong. When there's an actual horse involved, they're both extremely difficult. And they're both things I cannot nor would be able to do.

15 But.... Just. With the eyeballs part of it. Yeah. Versage on a stick horse is mega ridiculous. I don't understand your lines of delineation between that because prancing around in various paces around an arena riding a stick horse seems just as ridiculous. In fact, even more so, at least. I mean. The hunter jumping, you're jumping with, you're mimicking. It's more ridiculous.

04 This is the argument we needed this week. It's no more right versus left. It's no more Texas dirty blue. It's how ridiculous is eventing on a stick horse versus dressage on a stick horse. Yeah. This is the ridiculous conversation I needed today. Oh, my God. But for the record, you think they're equally ridiculous, or are you saying the jumping is more ridiculous than the dressage? I....

47 Yeah, I would say, I would guess equally ridiculous. At least with maybe the hunter jumping a little less ridiculous because there's some athleticism you're displaying there. Yeah, thank you. See, you're actually, you're almost right there with me, buddy. Jerry, where do you fall on this? Hopefully on the stick. You know, I've got to agree. There's a little bit of athleticness. At least there is that. I'm just... Because you're. Saying the dressage... Now I'm even confused which one you said was more ridiculous.

32 Okay, okay, okay. Give us a. Dan, since you're the one that's putting these levels in place, give us another real-world example of ridiculous versus... Mega ridiculous, just so we can compare these a little bit. Oh, something that's not hobby horsing? Yeah. Just so we can tell what level we're on here. KCPS mornings, ridiculous or mega ridiculous? Mega ridiculous. Thank you, Trey. Thank you. That's the comparison we needed. So this actually is a great example. So Bowen Gym mornings, 92.5. That's what it's supposed.

13 To be, right? Mm-hmm. Firing Bo Roberts unceremoniously after more than four decades on the air in DFW radio is ridiculous. Replacing that show with that mega ridiculous. Okay, so we're talking like gay limpa zaner with hobby horse level ridiculous now. All right. Maybe not that much. That's just based on the name alone. No, I just. Yeah, I have to.

56 I have to agree. If there's a little bit of athleticness to it, then. I mean, still just as ridiculous, but at least you can be like, oh, well, okay. Yeah, because some of those jumps are really hard, whether you're on a horse or not. Now, if we added in this wrinkle, where would it fall on the level of ridiculousness? The Kentucky Derby, but there's no horses. The horses are replaced with stick horses. So now you got a bunch of people running around the track just smacking their own ass with sticks. That sounds like something you'd see at the Mesquite Rodeo in between events.

38 Honestly, I think they should do that at the Kentucky Derby between races. I would love that. I want to see Bob Costas talk up that event. There you go. I feel like you've done this, Dan. Not professionally. I do live very close to the racetrack here on St. Thomas. If you were going to go a mile and an eighth on a stick course. Ridiculous. But, you know. Watch.

21 Watch. Oh yeah. That I would watch. That would be entertaining. I mean, just imagine the next Kentucky Derby. They take a bunch of people that were in the stands, ladies wearing their big hats and a bunch of drunk people on the infield. And they put them on stick horses and make them run around the track to see who wins. And we all take bets. I'm there for it. Hmm. I can't wait to place my bets. I want to know. I want to see the handicapping on Glenda from Section 12 versus some guy in a three piece ten thousand dollar suit who might be one of the owners of a horse versus a college kid who's had 15 too many mint juleps.

15 I want to bet on the black guy. I'm so glad I didn't have a drink in my hand right there. That was a really easy race to handicap. Oh, man. All right, so the mom lady kind of went viral for asking if she was the a-hole about telling her daughter she's gay. I didn't even read the whole thing. She just basically said she sat her kid down and said, you're probably going to get bullied. Do you want to know the entirety of it? Sure. All right. My daughter, 13-year-old female, has been flourishing both academically and socially.

00 She's head of student council, gets straight A's. She's everything I wanted walking into that hospital 13 years ago and more. Does everyone feel the butt? I thought I had the perfect kid until this day. Anyway, back to what she says. She says, there are some things you have to say no to as a mother. For example, when she was 10, She wanted red hair. Well, just two weeks ago, she started picking up hobby horsing. She spent $ 200 of her allowance on a show-ready, her words, horse on a stick. Wow. She's been talking about how she wants to start up a hobby horsing club at her school. She's 100% serious about this. I didn't know what it was until she told me, and from what I do know now, This is just the ticket to getting 12 swirlies per day in high school next year. I don't want her to get viciously bullied like I did coming up, so I had to sit down with her. I told her she might get bullied for this sport, and that maybe she should find a new hobby. The tears started swelling up in her eyes as soon as I said the word bullied, and she screamed, tell me something I don't know, mom, and ran to her room in tears.

15 Good girl. I feel awful. but I just want the best for her. And the best probably isn't running around on a horse stick, jumping through hoops. Was I too mean? Am I the a-hole? You support them, but you tell them that it's going to be difficult. It's going to be a long road to hoe. And here's why. And if they do bully you, I'm still here to support you because it's going to happen because they're not going to understand. And, You do well enough, maybe you can go pro someday. Here's how I would handle this.

58 I support you and I love you. If this is what you really want to do, I will love you and support you. However, you are going to be made fun of viciously for it. Exactly. The good news is, if the bullying goes too far, you know you have a stick. And I'm willing to bet the bully is not expecting that. They're just going to go up to you expecting to make fun of you. But if you respond, that may stop the bullying.

43 No. Because this is the same thing. And it's like with kids, you have to sometimes teach them a lesson that be careful what you pick up because that can be also used as a weapon against you. This is also true. Yeah. Sometimes you have to be the adult and go find another hobby. This isn't like you're going into band. It's not like you're going, you're going to play piano you're doing or something that might be considered nerdy, but at the same time could also pay off down the road. You're riding a fucking hobby horse. Yeah.

24 Yeah. This is, it should be the same answer. If your kid worked at the Burger King drive-thru and said, look, mom, here's my, my costume. What do you think? Say no. Go pick another one. Jerry, for perspective, what Trey is talking about is the Burger King employee from over the weekend whose Halloween costume was blackface. Oh. Oh my. No, that's a different thing. And not the blackface that might possibly be perceived as complimentary.

11 I mean, this is the. Good, hardcore, really dark black shoe polish blackface that's really, really, really, really bad. No, I saw one. I don't know what celebrity it was. They were in green, and they were like, oh, it's just like blackface. No, the Burger King employee. No, that's blackface. Yeah, it's like 1930s blackface. It's bad. Like the cartoons that Disney has tried to distance itself from for many, many years type of life. Yeah. In reality, in reality, I am actually with... I'm with you, Dre.

52 At a certain point, you got to just tell your kid, no, man, no. And like you said, if you're doing a hobby or something that's already a school activity that some perceive as nerdy or dorky, whatever. fine, but. Chances are there's other kids in there doing it, even if it's chess club. Like, look, even, even the chess club kids and the people that, even the people that know the chess club kids know that those kids are still hyper smart. Are they nerdy? Yeah. You're not really bullying the chess club kids. Cause that's just, that's just, that's low hanging fruit. If we're being honest, plus Even when I was in high school, we all knew we're not making fun of those guys because they're all going to be our bosses someday.

36 We knew that. Hobby horsing, you will absolutely get made fun of because you're probably the only one. At least in band, there's some strength in numbers. Drama club, some strength in numbers. It's already established clubs. It may not be part of the mainstream, but it's really not that weird at the end of the day. And like you said, Trey, some of those things may actually lead to something. Down the line. I mean, you're not going to get on a Wheaties box by being a member of the IHHC, but maybe the Oaties box. But if it's something that they're really enjoying doing, then you just tell them, this is what's going to happen.

22 I'll take you to a field. If she bought the stick and stuff already, fine. I'll take you to a dog park. You can run around and go crazy. But you don't need to start a club at school. Starting the club at school, though, that's another level. You know what? And you might be surprised. I don't know. I was the kind of kid that could have gotten talked into doing that if I saw somebody else doing it and genuinely having fun with it. I'm pretty sure you would do it now if we asked you to. Absolutely, I would. Day ain't over yet, Jerry.

02 I still may ask you to go up and down the tollway on a stick horse. The sad thing is you wouldn't be the first member of the Russ Martin show to do it. I was about to say. That is a well-paved road. That is ground that has already been broken. Oh, man. All right. Let's get Daniel Cook from Cook DFW Roofing and Restoration into the treehouse. 833-COOK-DFW is the phone number to get your free roof inspection and property review scheduled. The website, cookdfw.com. I'm going to say some scary words, Daniel. Super El Nino.

43 And the effect that is going to have on weather, especially in the North Texas area. You know, you're right. We just are officially in going into. The Super El Nino. The reason why is because it's warmer than a regular El Nino. And it does prelude that we will have a wetter higher rain percentage than. A normal year, or shall we say on El Nino. So there are some differences, speculations. Nothing is set in stone. This is not a guarantee that we're going to have a deluge of water for the next year. I mean, that's just not. What it means.

23 Scientific data says, hey, we might have a wetter than normal. We could have more storms. It could be just a lot of rain. We all need to go out and build arcs. I don't know. But, I mean... Be prepared. The moral of the story is every day you live in North Texas, especially in North Texas, be prepared. Know how your home is sitting. Know how your roof looks. Know how your windows are working. Know if your doors have holes in them. I mean, just know your home. Know your home. Call us out. We want to educate you. We will come around, walk you around, show you things that you should know, and then we can help you with getting them taken care of. And no pressure, all education. And Daniel and his fine team at Cook DFW will take care of you, the homeowner.

05 With very, very gentle hands. I know because I've been in them. 833-COOK-DFW. That sound bad? Sounded bad. 833-COOK-DFW. Get that scheduled today. The website, cookdfw.com. All right. I've got 99 problems, but a bench ate one. How do you like that? Am I the a-hole for removing a bench from my front yard that the neighborhood started treating as public property? I don't know why this is actually possibly my favorite story of the day. A freaking bench. There's a wooden bench at the edge of my front yard that my grandfather built years ago. It's technically on my property, but it faces the sidewalk. A few months ago, the school district moved the bus stop right in front of my house. Parents started sitting on the bench while waiting with their kids, which I had no problem with.

56 Then people started leaving coffee cups, snack wrappers, and even a bag of dirty diapers next to it. I asked a couple of parents to clean up after themselves, but nothing really changed. Last weekend, I moved the bench onto my porch. My mom has bad knees, and I figured she could actually use it when she comes over. Then yesterday, a neighbor knocked and asked why I'd removed the bus stop bench. I explained, and she said it was selfish because some parents have to stand outside for 15 minutes now. She also mentioned one grandmother who apparently relied on it because she can't stand very long. feel bad about that part but nobody ever asked me if they could use the bench in the first place it just sort of became. A neighborhood thing am I the a-hole.

39 No this is the problem when you when you give people something is once they get really used to it then they expect it and then they begin to feel they're entitled to it even if it wasn't theirs in the first place Mm-hmm. You're leaving nasty stuff behind for me to click. Mm-mm. No. Mm-mm. Especially if you can't treat it right. I mean, you talk about kids and parents telling their kids yes and no. It's like, if I give you a thing and you don't treat it right, I take it back. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who was told that as a kid.

23 Right. So why as adults do people not seem to remember these things that we supposedly learned as kids? Because people are assholes. But you could have played this. You could have shamed some people first because you could have put a warning up going, OK, clean up after yourselves. I'm going to take this away. Yep. And then you could also could have put a little camera there and then you could have photographed the people that leave stuff there. Just made a nice little wall of shame going. These are the people that are going to cause the bench to be taken up. Yep.

03 So you could have had some more fun with it at the end of the day. I don't blame them one bit. I probably would have put some kind of zapping device on there. Got a little entertainment out of it. Absolutely. A couple of little electrodes at the bottom of the bench that's now metal. A couple of car batteries. I am still shocked at the number of people I see litter. Is it because we don't do the PSAs the way we used to? I guess so. Partly because with PSAs back in the day, public service announcements, they were required to a certain degree by the FCC to have a broadcast license. You had to carry certain amounts of commercial or content programming that were for public safety, public good, public service. Now that we've all cut the cord, you don't have those same requirements, so you don't really have those same PSAs anymore.

10 You still have a lot of PSAs out there because you know, there's all ad time to fill up. I mean, one of the most legendary ad campaigns was started because of littering. Don't mess with Texas. I mean, that became a slogan that's still to this day. And I think it got better for a while. And then now I think it's, I don't remember it ever being this bad. And I'm not even talking about the homeless. I'm just talking about The people I see driving down the road who just throw crap out of their window. Right. Walking down the street, pull a candy bar or something out of their pocket. They eat the candy bar. And as they're walking, they just drop the wrapper on their path and keep going. I have seen that happen so many times in recent history. And it's like, when I was a kid, I didn't see that. When I was a young adult, I didn't see that. But like the last 10 years or so, I've seen it a number of times.

13 Where have we gone wrong? That's kind of what I mean is like, that wasn't something that we did as kids. We were told, you know, pick it up, put it in the trash. Don't mess with Texas. Don't make the Indian cry. I would come home with pockets full of empty wrappers in my, in my jacket, in my pants pockets. Cause you waited until you got near a trash can and throw all that stuff away. Is it the lack of beatings? Is that it? Hmm. I think it's just a lack of... People are so self-absorbed that they simply don't care. I think that. Yeah, I think you're right. Linda says it's part of the entitlement culture. Yeah. In a way, yeah. I think Trey nailed it.

57 He's like, people are just so self-absorbed they just don't even think about it, don't even care. It's just... It's a level of inconsiderate that makes my skin crawl. Oh, it's like... I live in... In my apartment building, they have a trash service that... Sunday through Thursday, you put your trash out at night, guy comes by, picks it up. Nice. There's also, you know, if you have stuff that's too big boxes, whatever, there is a whole trash room that has, has two shoots, one for recycling, one for regular. And the number of people, especially on the weekend, It amazes me.

39 They will take their trash down to the trash room, but they won't put it in the chute. Or there's also, if things are of a certain size, you take it downstairs, and then there is a big room for the bulky stuff, furniture, whatever. Yeah. But no, then people will just leave it in this room. There was one person, they probably had a 20 by 20 rug that they just threw in this trash room. Ultimately, it's this kid, the nicest kid in the world who does the trash service. He's got to deal with it. It's like, don't be an asshole. Take it down to where you're supposed to dispose it. People just don't care.

20 They don't care. They can't be bothered. This is why I believe in consequences. People that do that have not had to deal with any actual consequences. Therefore, they keep doing it. If someone was to pay attention and or put a camera up, and see who the asshats are that are putting 20 by 20 rugs in the room, as opposed to taking it down to where it's supposed to be, you know, done away with properly. Without consequences, actions won't change. Right. So we got to do something. I went to the management. I go, y'all have cameras right there. You can see who did this. This needs to be at least fined. Per the rules of this building, you're supposed to be fined for that. Now, will they take the time to do it?

10 No. See, I am petty and spiteful enough. If I was managing the building, I would be like, I would stay after hours. I would find the SOB who did it and go. And put that rug back in their apartment. Give me the cash. I think that's what you should do. I think you need to take over the management of the building. You could not. It is now the Trinholm of Uptown. In my real estate career, the one thing that I had a taste of briefly, and I was like, oh, no. Property management. Yeah, I can't. Not now, not ever. Not for a duplex, not for 200 units.

54 Buddy, hear me out. It's the trend home. You run it. And you run it like it's the continental in John Wick. Except it's the trend home. And that's the problem. I would, and I'd be in jail. The problem is, I don't have the immunity of the continental. Right, right. This is not neutral space. You will get arrested at the Trinholm for murdering your tenants or your guests. There would be killing on the property. I mean, that's the problem number one. You're going to have to get a stick to unclog the body chute?

38 Jonathan. Kill that motherfucker for me, please. I would watch that. I want to watch your version of the Continental called the Trinholm. Could do it. I think you'd fit right in. 32:23 All right. You know what? Let's do some birthdays. Today is Thursday. I hit the wrong password. Thursday, November 5th, 2026. Let's celebrate today with some celebrity birthdays. Starting out, Odell Beckham Jr. Is 34. One of the great catches in NFL history against the Cowboys when he played for the Giants. Keep in mind, while it was a great catch, the Cowboys still won that game. And Then he kind of came back with the Giants, and I don't know if he is still back with the Giants or not, or if he's back to doing nothing. I don't know. I feel like he got cut and assigned by somebody else. But I don't... I thought that's how he ended up on the Giants this year. Kevin Jonas is 39. He is the oldest member of the Jonas Brothers.

17 Wow, the Jonas's are about to be 40. That's... Ouch. Yeah. Is it weird to think that Hanson is older than Jonas? Hanson's our age. I know. That's what's really just, the. Oldest Hanson is probably older than us. No, I think, I know. I think that the drummer Hanson is younger than us. I think we just like his, I. Said the old, the oldest Hanson is older than us. I, Oh yeah. I don't know. I think you're older than the oldest Hanson. I think, Oh, no, wait, no, I forget about the actual oldest oldest, not the lead singer that looked like the girl. Isaac is 45. Okay.

58 Taylor is 43 and Zach is 41. I thought there was more separation between the oldest and youngest. So, yeah, still. Goddamn. And no, I feel like the Jonas's came along 15 years. After handsome. I'm with you. I'm actually surprised the Jonas's are that close in age to the Hanson's. I guess maybe maybe it's because the Hanson's were younger than we actually truly realized. And the Jonas's were a little bit older than maybe we thought. Yeah. Speaking of famous brothers, Jason Kelsey is thirty nine today. Tell you what. Mama Kelsey did good. Yeah.

42 Jason Kelsey, 39, retired Philadelphia Eagle Center Super Bowl champion and co-host of the New Heights podcast with his brother, Travis, and brother-in-law to Taylor Swift. And I'll be honest with you, Jason Kelsey's wife might be, you know, he outkicked his coverage on that one. You know, I don't know about Taylor and Travis, and I'm drawing a blank on her name, but she's entertaining as hell. Kylie? Yeah, that sounds right. Yeah, I think it's Kylie. She's hysterical. She's got that entire family, even the ones marrying into it, including Taylor. Personality to burn.

25 Oh, yeah. Which, that to me is a testament to Mama Kelsey, because Travis and Jason were not bothered by strong, opinionated women. And Taylor Swift and, is it Kylie K? Very much are like Travis and Jason Kelsey have now one of the most successful podcasts in the world, mainly because Taylor Swift jumped on it. They already had a good go, but after Taylor was on it, it went to another level. Then, uh, not going to lie, which is Kylie, Kylie Kelsey's podcast is also a banger and does really, really well.

09 Good. I'm telling you, man, Cheers to Mama Kelsey. Jason's 39. And also cheers to Jason for dealing with the tush-push for as long as he did. And for being opinionated enough to go into the media and go like, I hate to play. Because had it not been for that play, he might have played another year or two. But because of it, he's like, no, I'm good. Other birthdays today. Luke Hemsworth. This is like family day for birthdays. Luke Hemsworth is 46, even though he is extremely successful on his own.

51 He is a shadow in Chris and Liam's shadows. Sorry. He's lost in their shadows. Yeah. Do we really consider Chris and Liam on an equal plane? No. And Luke is on like that third rung down. Yeah. I mean, to me, it's like, uh, Oh my God, Chris. Yeah, Liam clearly is better than Luke, but as far as a career goes, I've had a better career, but I don't consider him... In fact, I don't think he's really very good. Liam? Yeah. I do.

31 I think he's good. He was in the... Damn it. Hunger Games movies. He was in the Hunger Games movies. He also played his brother, Chris... he played Thor in Thor Ragnarok stage play. That was pretty good. And Matt and Matt Damon played Loki. That was a great like thing within a thing was that whole play. Uh, so anyway, Luke Hemsworth, the youngest, uh, I think the youngest Hemsworth or at least the least known when he's 46. On his own. Uh, he was also somewhere in Thor Ragnarok and he was also in Westworld. So not everything he's been stuff. Um, Two-time Masters champion known for his powerful, unconventional golf swing, Bubba Watson, 48. Former Dallas Maverick, Jerry Stackhouse.

24 Is 52. He was not part of that title team, was he? I know he was on the team in 06 and then went to the finals and lost to the Heat. Yeah, no. Johnny Damon is 53 today. Former Major League outfielder, two-time World Series champion with the Boston Red Sox. And a great name. Johnny Damon? Yeah, that's a good name. It is a good name. Famke Jansen, 62. I know that's one of Trey's special places. I mean, you want to talk about bad plastic surgery, too. Oh, that's sad. I mean, her in Goldeneye, one of the hottest Bond girls.

10 I mean, just, and even in X-Men. she was so, so scorching hot. And then she had some bad work. She's almost the same age as Tatum O'Neill. Tatum O'Neill is 63 today. She won an Academy Award at age 10 for Paper Moon. Tilda Swinton is 66. She was in Michael Clayton, Snowpiercer, The Chronicles of Narnia, and the ancient one in Doctor Strange in the MCU. Ryan Adams from Canada is 67. Great singer, horrible face.

00 Yeah. 60, God. Yeah, I guess that's about right. Yeah, about right. 67. The T-1000. Robert Patrick is 68 today. Really? Yeah. Yeah. And He's had a career resurgence in recent years. I mean, it's not that he completely went away, but he was so good in Terminator 2 that it was hard to see him as anything other than that in any other role. So it took a while, but then eventually he kind of got older. He's had a string of fairly successful shows. I mean, he did one show, Scorpion, that I really liked. It got a little outlandish at the end, but.

42 Especially the first couple of seasons. I think that was one of the first things that put him back on the Hollywood map, unless I'm missing something, was that show. And then that led into a bunch of other things, including he was a bad guy on one of the seasons of Reacher. He's also... He's on Tulsa King, I think. Was he in Tulsa King as well? I haven't seen that, so I don't know. He was on X-Files for a while when they did that. Bo and Luke Duke, their cousins come in to replace him thing on the X-Files. That's right, yeah. He's a man. And he's Peacemaker's dad. Oh, yeah. On Tulsa King. Yeah. He was great as Peacemaker's dad, man.

22 Man. That pretty much does it. Robert Patrick, 68. And in case you didn't know, the scene where he's in the parking garage and he's running after them when they're in the car and. Stuff, that's him running. Mm-hmm. That's not camera photography. I've seen clips of this interview before. Where he's talked about, he's like, he did the whole, like he practiced it, did the running and the, and the sharp hands and everything. And that he was like, Oh yeah, I am that fast. The other thing that he talks about that, like he almost caught. The camera on the back of a fricking truck. Right. What were you going to say, Jerry?

04 One of the other things that he talks about that they had him trained to do was not to blink when he shot the guns. That was tough. I don't know how you do that. I really don't. He and Arnold both had to go through that training. I just think it, you know, he gives me hope that there's a career for grumpy old men. You can do it, buddy. You can do it, Trey. I like how they made Schwarzenegger and Robert Patrick go through non-blink training while firing guns. Meanwhile, In the Star Wars movie, the second one, the second new one that came out where Laura Dern played like some general thing, when she goes to shoot her laser gun, you.

53 Can actually see her mouth go pew. You think I'm lying? Look it up. You see her do it. It's in the freaking movie. She's going pew. It's hard enough not to blink, but trying to get an actor to stop saying bang or. Pew when they're shooting a gun in the movie. Pew, pew. I love that. Oh, okay. A man has been charged in a diaper attack. A young Minnesota man who enjoyed wearing diapers and wanted to be given a binky has been charged with assaulting and strangling his girlfriend as he forcefully.

37 sought to put a pull-up diaper on her. What is going on in this world? Wait, he liked wearing the diapers or putting.... Yes, I'll say it again. A young Minnesota man who enjoyed wearing diapers and wanted to be given a binky has been charged with assaulting and strangling his girlfriend as. He forcefully tried to put a pull-up diaper on her. So he wanted to. I guess he wanted room in the play... I guess he wanted someone to join him in the playpen. Investigators filed a criminal complaint charging Xander Holmberg, 18, with felony and misdemeanor domestic assault defenses in connection with the bizarre mid-June attack in the victim's bedroom. Victim told police that he was interested in doing and acting and being treated like a baby and had threatened to force her to wear a diaper.

30 She made it clear that she did not want to wear diapers or pull-ups. The victim... said he enjoyed wearing and doing it. Investigators allege that he attacked the victim after the couple engaged in consensual sex. In the woman's home while in bed. He grabbed a pull-up and attempted to force the diaper on her while pinning her down. Jesus. The woman said she began having a panic attack during the incident and could not breathe. This is just... This is... It's so confusing because if you want to be in a diaper, typically then the other person is, you want to have them put you in a diaper. Right.

13 Exactly. And treat you like a baby. Yeah. There's the whole thing. Yeah. Yeah. It's a power dynamic. The power. Yeah. The parent, kid, whatever dynamic. Fucking Gen Z. Yeah. I like how Linda says, new game to play. How is this not Florida? Good point. This is Minnesota. And this is really interesting. Mackie says, I met him at the airport once. Oh, I think he means Robert Patrick, not the man. Okay, just checking. Or wait, Mackie, did you meet this guy at the airport?

54 I need to know which one it is. Is there a diaper club? I guarantee you there is. Oh, yeah, I'm sure. It's a daycare for grown-ups. Can you imagine if you. Let's just hypothetically say you had kids and you're looking for a new daycare. And a little red pen pops up that says daycare. All right, here we go. We're going to go check this one out. And you walk in. It's just a bunch of grown men rolling around on the floor in diapers and asking for their binkies.

38 And I'm sure that place exists. I'm sure for somebody it's the Garden of Eden. I'm sure it is. And I wonder if, look, times are tough right now. If that daycare is any cheaper than the one with all the kids, I think you kind of have to consider it, right? Childcare is instinctive. All right. Adventures in babysitting. No kidding. Oh my God. That needs to be a sequel. All right. Maybe not that one. All right. We'll see you next time right here inside the tree house.

20 If you loved what you heard here today, share it with a friend and together we can grow the tree house show. Mackie's trying to save it by saying, yeah, yeah. I met Robert. Sure. You did. Sure. You did. We'll see you next time right here inside the tree house. Bye. Bye.
